was given to Assult Enginer units.
Later it was expanded to include all
conbatant personnel that were not
eligible for either:
        Tank Battle Badge
        Infantry Assult Badge

This badge was given to particpants in
3 assults on different days.


On June 22, 1943, higher grades
of this badge were given. 25, 50, 75 and 100.
The number was added to the base to
indicate the number of actions.
The 25 & 50 have a black eagle, bayonet
and grenade with a silver wreath.
The 75 & 100 have a black eagle, bayonet
and grenade with a gilt wreath.

This badge was worn on the left breast pocket..
