Started on December 16, 1938,
for Mothers of Large Families.
Both parents had to be Gerrman.

This Ribbon had 3 classes:
* Bronze for 4-5 children
* Silver for 6-7 children
* Gilt for 8 or more children

The cross was worn around
the neck on formal occasions,
but normally the miniature
was worn on the left lapel.
