National sold this doorstop unpainted for 50 cents
per National's 1920's Catalog.
They also sold paint kits or their doorstops painted.

Note 1:
There are many versions of this house that are similiar.
However, there are slight differences.
  1. The "Number of Fence Pickets" on each side of the house.
  2. On the far left & right, the way the "Vines" are on the house.

Note 2:
  1. National's design # 32 has 3 vertical picket fence slats on each side of the house.
      and the Vines on the left stay inside the house's profile.
      Smith & Bertoia Doorstop Books document National's # 32 differently.
      Their version 32 has 3 slats on the left & 2 on the right.
      However, a picture in National's 1920's catalog,
      clearly shows 3 fence slats on each side of the house, and
      the Vines that match what is shown on this website as National's # 32.
  2. National's design # 150F has 3 vertical picket fence slats on only the left side of the house.
      Documented as such in National's 1920's catalog.
  3. Albany's # 32 version has three slats on the left & two slats on the right.
      and the Vines on the left go outside of the house's vertical edge.
