NOTE 1:
The United States has had approximately a thousand lights. In the state of Massachusetts, there are 77 lights. Of those 77 lights, 57 are still working. Michigan has the most lights of any state.

NOTE 2:
This Doorstop could be a rendering of 1 of 3 Lighthouses located in Gloucester, Mass.
1. Annisquam Lighthouse
Lighthouse Road - built 1801
2. Eastern Point Lighthouse
built 1832 on Eastern Point Boulevard
3. Ten Pound Island Lighthouse
First lit 1881, is a small island located
at the eastern end of Gloucester Harbor.

Conclusion --
The Annisquam Lighthouse is not even near Gloucester Habour. Ten Pound Island Lighthouse, since it is the most Historic & located in Gloucester Habour is the obvious choice.that this doorstop was meant to be a rendering.
See picture "2"
for an Engraving of the first Ten Pound Island Light
See picture "3"
for what Ten Pound Island Lighthouse looks like today

NOTE 3:
This doorstop is not of the famous Highland Lighthouse. That lighthouse is located in North Truro, MASS.
