"CN" has been reproducing exact copies of original doorstops since the late 1900's. Their value is negligible. They are the most prolific maker of doorstop reproductions. John Wright had the old hubley molds to go by, but these fabricators did not have help being 1/2 world apart. Yet, their. doorstops were exactly identical to antique ones including the paint. Their castings were virtually undetectable execpt for 2 small letters -- CN somewhere on the doorstop back. Before collectors knew about CN, the market was flooded with reproductions

The fact :
  "This foundry's goal is not to design any of their
  own doorstops, but to copy the antique ones."

The problem is they do such a good job coping a doorstop, it's fooled many a collector.
