This Modern Foundry casts their own designs & does not fabricate doorstops made by the old foundries. Started by Robert EMIG in PA 50 years ago. Even though they have been in business for 50 years, their doorstops would not be before 1948 - the days of the original foundries.

EMIG's Squirrel appears in Bertoia's Book on Doorstops. That book was first published in the 1970's. well after 1948 and that book has other reproductions pictured - Donald Duck
