John Wright started his business in the 19407 reproducing doorstops. Today, John Wright's place of business is located in a Garden Shop backed up to the Susquehanna River. In 1948, Hubley sold their doorstop molds to John Wright. John Wright, a reproduction fabricator, had to identify his doorstops differently than Hubley or it would be fraud. It's the same fraud as reproducing a famous painting. Sometimes he kept Hubley's marking and just added his name. John Wright purchased Grey Iron Casting Company In 1968
Today, John Wright has reproduced Wilton Foundry Doorstops from their old Molds as well as many other antique doorstops
